Vi söker korister till en av Sveriges viktigaste kulturscener!

Radiokören söker en tenor på 50% tjänst, samt vikariepool.
Provsjungningen äger rum 6-10 mars 2023 i Radiohusets studio 2, Oxenstiernsgatan 20 i Stockholm.
Vi vill ha din ansökan senast 15 januari 2023.

Som korist i Radiokören är du med din röst en del av en kör i världsklass med ett alldeles eget sound. Mitt i händelsernas centrum blir du en viktig del av ett företag som värnar om demokrati, det fria ordet och alla människors lika värde. Berwaldhallen är genom sina konserter, turnéer och sin direktsända musik viktiga ambassadörer för svensk musik och kultur världen över. Här finns kunskap och intresse för såväl den klassiska som den nyskapade musiken och en bred förståelse för konstnärliga processer. I Berwaldhallen ryms två ensembler - Radiokören och Sveriges Radios Symfoniorkester och de attraherar båda framstående dirigenter och solister. Som korist erbjuder vi dig ett musicerande på högsta internationella nivå. Tillsammans bildar Radiokören med sina 32 professionella sångare ett instrument som spänner från sprödaste a cappellatoner till oratorier med enorm kraft och elasticitet. Varje individ tillåts ta plats i kollektivet vilket ger ett uttryck som inte finns någon annanstans - Radiokörens eget sound. Repertoaren är rikt nyanserad med många genrer, en generös blandning av tidig och nutida musik och nästan allt däremellan. Sveriges Radio erbjuder en kreativ och stimulerande arbetsplats som vidgar vyerna.

Instruktioner och process för ansökan:

I din ansökan behöver du skicka med:

• CV med specificerad sångutbildning och körerfarenhet.
• Motivationsbrev
• Ljudinspelning av två kontrasterande fritt valda stycken, samt en skalövning, se nedan. Denna utföres två gånger från samma ton, piano och forte, från ditt lägre register kromatiskt upp till din högsta ton.

Utifrån ansökningarna görs en första gallring, varpå kallelser och noter mailas i början av vecka 7.
Provsjungningen består av två omgångar där utvalt antal sångare går vidare till omgång 2.

Anställning och kontaktuppgifter

Arbetsplatsen är Radiohuset och Berwaldhallen i Stockholm.

Tjänsten är en visstidsanställning på deltid, 50% med kontrakt som sträcker sig på 1-3 år efter provtjänstgöring med start i augusti 2023. Ordinarie repetitionstid är tisdag och fredag 9:30-12:30 samt onsdag och torsdag 14:00-17:00 i Radiohusets studio 2. Utöver detta tillkommer konserter och turnéverksamhet.

The Swedish Radio Choir is looking for new singers!

We are looking for a tenor for a fixed-term employment of 50% and for our substitute pool. The audition will take part 6-10 March in Radiohuset, Oxenstiernsgatan 20 in Stockholm. Last date to apply is 15 January 2023.

As a member of The Swedish Radio Choir you are a part of a choir known worldwide for its unique sound.

For more than 90 years, the Swedish Radio Choir has contributed to the development of the Swedish a cappella tradition. Under the leadership of legendary conductor Eric Ericson, the choir earned great international renown and is still hailed as one of the best choirs in the world. The choir members’ ability to switch between powerful solo performances to seamlessly integrating themselves in the ensemble creates a unique and dynamic instrument praised by critics and music lovers alike, as well as by the many guest conductors who explore and challenge the choir’s possibilities.

The permanent home of the Swedish Radio Choir since 1979 is Berwaldhallen, the Swedish Radio’s concert hall. In addition to the seated audience, the choir reaches millions of listeners on the radio and online in Sweden and throughout the world. Several concerts are also broadcast and streamed on Berwaldhallen Play, offering the audience more opportunities to come as close as possible to one of the world’s top choirs.

Kaspars Putniņš is the tenth Chief Conductor of the Swedish Radio Choir and Marc Korovitch the choirmaster, both responsible of the ensemble’s continued artistic development. Two former Chief Conductors, Tõnu Kaljuste and Peter Dijkstra, have been appointed Conductors Laureate and continue to make guest appearances. The position is a fixed-term employment of 50% on 1-3 year contracts after probationary service, starting in September 2022. The Swedish Radio Choir rehearses in Radiohuset, Stockholm; normally Tuesday and Friday 9:30-12:30, Wednesday and Thursday 14:00-17:00. In addition to this performs, concerts and planned tours.
